26 – Un giocattolo Morse
Alcuni anni fa trovai su internet
(forse c’è ancora…) la pubblicità di un antico giocattolo spagnolo, una pista di aeroporto, con torre di controllo e possibilità di
segnalazione Morse sia ottica (col faro) che acustica (con un clicker nascosto dentro l’hangar). La didascalia diceva:
Marx City Airport. A great toy, but very sad it has no airplanes,
maybe you have some that need a home. Played with condition, the search light
works and is removable to store a battery. The front tab has been repaired. The
Morse clicker is complete and in working order. The whole piece would make a
stunning addition to any aircraft display. 11"x15"
and 7" to top of fitted searchlight (removable for easier packing).

Per saperne di più feci pubblicare un
avviso su Morsum Magnificat, 2000, N. 68, chiedendo notizie sui film di
guerra dove si parlava di clikers, sull’addestramento
Morse, sulla tecnologia della lamina, ecc.
